I don't know why it took so long to get this all together correctly but it just happened today after getting that little V bracket off ebay.

I ordered part of the LSSimple engine brackets the other day so I decided to be prepared for when they get here, and clean up and paint the power steering assembly, and the alternator (painted the black plastic cover metallic blue for a custom tough)

Looking good man! I just got back on mine, after spending all the time getting the 55 finished for the Tri Five Nationals. It will be at the next Mcdonalds cruise, come check it out!

Looks like yours will be cruising pretty soon!

I made a steering box upgrade late last week, which was the mid 90's Jeep Cherokee steering box with fast ratio steering. I pulled the old leaky '78 box that was in my car and put this one in, changed the rag-joint to Dorman 31011 and transferred the Camaro Pitman arm. I'll get some hoses together soon enough.

    Cleaned:

Rag-joint (along with hole widened on steering shaft flange for coupler)

Also on my LSSimple BRacket set up I went ahead and swapped the the small metal pulley LSS offers..here compared to old one with install spacer taped on the hub.

Wow, Sorry for the big delay. I went into a crawl on the Camaro and have been making progress..it's just so slow that it seemed a hassle to post the work. But I'll do a bit of it now. I have gotten new wheels and tires for the car. I refinished and painted the black, they are Monte Carlo wheels, which I wanted because of the offset and the lug seats

The Steering Box I got came from a 95 Grand Cherokee. I think the range is like 93-98 on those.
