it looks like it is in an apartment complex.. Looks exactly like I last saw it... Guy is trying to unload it for next to nothing...

Good news: At least you know it's still in one piece!
Bad News: It adds another layer of complexity (and another victim) if someone snaps it up.

You might want to edit your earlier post which showed the VIN.
(Just in case the thief does a search and finds this thread.)

You figure it's not the thief who is selling it?

No matter what... Whoever buys it is in possession of stolen property AND they might part it out if they suspect it's stolen.

I hope the detective moves quickly on this case!
