    Thanks it was a beautiful day yesterday! and it was my day off! so i spent it in the garage :)

    LOL..... You must like it warm .... I'm a couple of hours north of you and we hit 92.... Heck it's 72 out right now

    I take it you spent quite a bit of time with the emery cloth. :bowtie:

    thanks guy's and ace i used gasket remover spray made by permatex i sprayed some on a cloth and wiped the pistons a couple of times and whala! clean as a whistle :bowtie:

    Just got thru reading your thread. I was hoping to see you'd find out about the MSD not controlling the VVT in time and was glad to see you did.

    I also have a carb'd LY6 and went with a very similar cam. Comp Cams LSr 223/231 @ .050 .610/.617 lift on 112 LSA and the Patriot gold dual springs w/titanium retainers and locks. I also considered a single plane intake but in the end went with the GMPP LSX/LS3 dual plane intake, topped with a Holley 750 HP Street carb. My headers are 1 7/8" primary Dynatech LSx swap headers, made for a 2nd gen f-body. $399 for ceramic coated...a steal. Anyway, its all backed by a built 200-4r and 3.73 12 bolt posi.

    So far I love it! Don't know what it'll run yet tho...dealing with some trans leaks before I can hit the track. Anyway....if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

    What headers are you guys running since Eldy stoped making their swap headers?

    I have seen and read it. I was just curious which ones they choose and how they fit.
