We have to turn in our company trucks this weekend.
Oh wow, Thats a nice looking third gen TA you got there Greg.
sweet looking ride Greg.
J/K...looks good man!
Greg the only good thing about that car is that it has a CHEVY engine
Dang, no love for the third gens! I like my 88 camaro. Sure the third gen's don't have the timeless great looks of a second but they aint bad cars.
3100-3450 lbs stock depending on year and option. Most in the 3300 lbs range. In stock form handle can't be touched by most, and mod the suspension and they will out handle most auto x setups in 1st gen, second gen, vettes, etc.
I have mine set up for drag and the thing still handles like it's on rails
Was looking for good camaro third gen for my daily driver most to rag out to do anything with.... would not mind finding a 82 4 banger camaro
Greg, Yeah it's getting harder to find 82, 83 third gens in ok to good cond. Myself I think I like the firebirds better over all. My dad was looking for a 82-83 F body a couple of years ago and ran across a 1982 bird. Straight body, interior fair, front seats ripped, carpet dirty, it was a v-8 swap car, ECU had done been removed, no engine or trans. He got it for $300.
On the firebirds I love the dash lay out, gauge bezel, etc. I also like the 1/4 panels and noses better on the birds than the camaros.
Even fixed up though his looks no where close to as good as yours. He built his more for power. 337 cid, 278/290* cam, 9.2:1, twin T4 turbos, th-350, etc etc. Here a link to his pics if you want to see em'.
Car as he bought it, diff stages as he was fixin' it up, engine install, dual exhaust, interior, etc
The twin turbo mock up on a junk car, install onto his car, etc
The nose needs to be replaced one to many curbs. I dont really want to turn it into a DD it is in good shape ..Save the camaro's for the weekend
