Well, I just acquired a little 1989 S10 Durango pick-up truck from my son. 2.8 eng with a 5 speed. 85,000 original miles.
He needed a full size truck so I sold him mine and asked him to throw in the S10 to make up the difference. It runs great and the original interior is in great condition. I'll play with it for awhile. I do want to put some fat tires on the AR rims. Maybe some Cooper Cobras 235s
It was a red truck that he painted black. I tried to convince him to keep it red but to no avail.

A V8 would be nice but I just don't have it in me to change the little "I think I can, I think I can" engine:bowtie:. Also, the rim size is 14". Not sure what's available out there in 14" to beef the wheel well up.

Very nice! Be very gentle on the little 2.8. They are fragile but can live a long happy life with oil changes and no over-revving.

Will do. I'll just have to allow for a long lead time to get it to speed:roadkill:

Put the Coopers on. 225/70/14. Now it has the right stance!

Place about 4 miles from me that specializes in turning out some nice S-10s in upper 9 drag trim if you're interested :)

I appreciate the tip. I’ll let the next owner pull that trigger. For now, I’ll just put around with it’s original little cream puff of an engine:bowtie:
