For Sale: Used Original engine lift brackets used on various Chevrolet models.

Note #1: The engine lift brackets on 1969 & 1970 Z28 engines are different based on my research. Page 91 of "The Definitive 1969 Camaro Z28-SS396 Fact Book" by Jerry MacNeish shows a photo of the larger bracket with the 2 mounting holes located on the drivers side front of a 1969 SS350 engine which I assume is original. I believe these brackets were also used on the 1970 Camaro SS350 engines which were made in Tonawanda, NY, as well. Even though these brackets are quite common there were several companies that made them and had various stampings.

Note #2: The bracket with the 2 mounting holes is the same as shown in the article in Original Driveline Topic entitled "1974 Z28 with 979 miles...pretty cool" in the last photo in #125 dated Oct. 29, 2017, however, the stamping may or may not be different.

Both brackets have the letter "S" stamping.
The bracket on the left side with 2 mounting holes in photo #1 (and photos #2 and #3) mounts on the drivers side front and has the small letter "S".
The small bracket on the right side in photo #1 (and photos #4, #5, and #6) mounts on the passenger side rear of the block and has the larger letter "S".
The brackets are in good useable condition.

Note #3: Potential buyers should do their own research.

For some reason these brackets are left off after an engine is rebuilt.

$25 for the engine lift brackets stamped "S" as shown in the photos plus shipping and PayPal fee (if applicable).
Note: I do combine shipping for other parts purchased within a 2 month period.
If interested, SEND ME A PM and BE SPECIFIC.

For Sale: USED Original Clutch Neutral Starting Switch that I disassembled and cleaned, GM # 3983965, for 1970-1978 Camaro models with M.T, as listed in Gr. 4.054 in my 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalogs (Jan. & Oct.1970), my April 1982 Chevrolet Parts Catalog for Models thru 1975, and my 1976-1981 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Sept. 1980) for the following models:
70 Pass., Nova, Camaro (exc. A.T.)
70-72 Pass., Nova, Camaro w/3-Spd. and 4-Spd.
73-75 Nova, Camaro w/3-Spd. and 4-Spd.
76-78 F W/M.T. (M20, M21)

Refer to the 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC 6, Sheet B11) as shown in photos #9.

NOTE #1: The part # for the clutch neutral starting switch listed in the 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC 6, Sheet B11) is 3961586. However, the 1970 Chevrolet Assembly Manual shows that GM # 3961586 was replaced with GM # 3983965 on 9/16/69 as per the REVISION RECORD.

NOTE #2:
The switch needs to be greased (with a special grease for electronics, I assume) and then reassembled.

Also included is the Bracket, GM # 3961589, which mounts on the Brake & Clutch Pedal Brace; attaching Screw, GM # 9419727; and Special Washer, GM 9419274, and the 2 very small springs (each about 1/4" long) in the small plastic bag as well as the original black rubber Bumper, GM # 3781770, as shown on UPC 7, Sheet C2.

Missing is the Push-on-Nut, GM #3909063 (see photo #9). This Push-on-Nut fits on the shaft (measured at 0.29" in diameter) of the 3961589 bracket. I believe that a suitable replacement push-on-nut can be purchased at a hardware store.

NOTE #3: Also refer to UPC 12, Sheet C2
.
This switch can be assembled quite easily. I just do not have any special grease for electronics parts.

As usual, potential buyers should do their own research when buying "correct" or replacement parts for their car.

$40 for the Used disassembled 3983965 switch & 3961578 bracket as shown in the photos plus shipping and Paypal fee (if applicable).
Note: I do combine shipping for other parts purchased within a 30 day period.
If interested, SEND ME A PM.

For Sale: Used Original "late" 1970 Camaro 307, 350, 396 engines with A.C. single groove Water Pump Pulley, GM # 3995631. The pulley is stamped "3995631 AO".
This pulley has the same "pinch marks" around the perimeter as the 1970 Z28 Water Pump pulleys as described in the March 9, 2007, article entitled "W/P Pulley Applications 70Z" by the famous M21RSZ28.

GM # 3995631 is also listed in my 1971-1976 Chevrolet Parts Catalogs for 1971-1976 Camaro models with 8 cyl. engines & A.C. as well as 1973-1974 All models with the 454 engine. Check your assembly manual to confirm that this pulley is correct for your car.

The pulley is in good useable condition without any rust or pitting from rust. It just needs to be re-painted. The "V" groove does not show any wear that I can see (see photo # 7). The O.D. of this pulley measures 6 3/16" and the width measures 2.0".

The 3995631 W/P pulley is listed in the 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC C60, Sheet C1). The 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual shows in the REVISION RECORD that GM # 3976059 was replaced with GM #3995631 on 5/28/70.

According to GM Parts History Catalog GM # 3995631 was replaced in Dec. 1977 with GM # 351680.

$25 for the 3995631 W/P pulley plus shipping and Paypal fee (if applicable).
Note: I do combine shipping for other parts purchased within a 2 month period.
If interested, SEND ME A PM.

For Sale: Used Original 1977-1981 Camaro V8 with A.C. double groove Water Pump Pulley, GM # 351680. The pulley is stamped "351680 AA".

GM # 351680 is also listed in my 1977 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Mar. 1977) and 1981 Chevrolet P:arts Catalog (Sept. 1980) for the following models:

Note: The 351680 double groove pulley can be used on All Models with the 454 engine (see photos #7 and #8) and other models that originally used the single groove pulley, GM # 3995631.

Check your assembly manual to confirm that this pulley is correct for your car.

The pulley is in very good useable condition without any rust or pitting from rust. It just needs to be re-painted. The two "V" grooves do not show any wear that I can see (see photo # 4, #5, and #6). The outer pulley O.D. measures 6 1/4" and the inner pulley O.D. measures 5 7/16" with the total width measuring 2 3/4".

According to GM Parts History Catalog GM # 351680 was replaced by GM # 14023155 sometime between Dec. 1983 and August 1985.

$25 for the 351680 W/P pulley plus shipping and Paypal fee (if applicable).
Note: I do combine shipping for other parts purchased within a 2 month period.

For Sale: Used RH Upper Control Arm from a 1970 Camaro, GM # 3964828, which is also listed in my vintage Chevrolet parts catalogs for 1971 and 1972 Camaro models. The stampings are "D21" (photo #2) and "B" & "0" (photo #3). I assume that the "D", "21, and "0" are a date code April 21, 1970, not sure about the meaning of the letter "B".
Attached to the control arm is the shaft, GM # 3986036, also listed for 1970-1972 Camaro models.

Both the upper control arm and shaft are in good restorable condition but should be disassembled, media blasted, painted, and then reassembled with new bushings.

According to GM Parts History Catalog (for service parts sold over the counter) the Upper Control Arm, GM # 3964828, was replaced in Oct. 1973 with GM # 331278 in May 1974 which was then replaced by GM # 335894 and then replaced by GM # 351218 and then replaced by GM # 14002390 and finally replaced by GM # 14011216. I have no idea what the differences are based on the part number supersessions.

According to GM Parts History Catalog (for service parts sold over the counter) the Shaft, GM # 3986036, was replaced in Mar. 1974 with GM # 6259679 which was then replaced by GM # 356852.

$40 for the 3964628 1970-1972 RH Upper Control Arm w/ 3986036 shaft plus shipping and Paypal fee (if applicable).
If interested, SEND ME A PM and BE SPECIFIC.

For Sale: Used LH Upper Control Arm from a 1970 Camaro, GM # 3964827, which is also listed in my vintage Chevrolet parts catalogs for 1971 and 1972 Camaro models. The stampings are "A" and "29"" (photo #2) and "D" & "0" (photo #3). I assume that the "A", "29, and "0" are a date code January 29, 1970, not sure about the meaning of the letter "D".
Attached to the control arm is the shaft, GM # 3986036, also listed for 1970-1972 Camaro models.

The upper control arm is in fair condition because of the heavier rust but the shaft are in good restorable condition.

According to GM Parts History Catalog (for service parts sold over the counter) the Upper Control Arm, GM # 3964827, was replaced in Oct. 1973 with GM # 335893.
