For Sale: Used Original Rochester 4-BBl Bolt , GM # 9419047, for 1971-1981 Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, and Chevrolet models with L48 engine.

Refer to the 1971 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC L48, Sheet 6M-1) and the 1972 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC 6M, Sheet 3).

The bolt is 5/16"-18 X 3 3/4" with hex head with the letter "H" inside the larger letter "C" with 3 radial line segments (Grade 5).

Refer to thread entitled "Original 1970 Q-Jet Bolts" (Jan. 14, 2013 to May 10, 2013) and post by M21RSZ28 on Mar. 6, 2013 (see photo #2).

The bolt is in very good condition. I only have the single bolt, 2 are required.

For Sale: Used Original Rochester 4-BBL Bolt , GM # 9432450, for "Early" 1971 Corvette models and I assume 1971-UP Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, and Chevrolet models with the L48 engine.

Refer to the description in photo #2 which I copied from the NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society) thread entitled "454 Q-jet bolts" in a post dated Nov. 4, 2008. I have been a member of the NCRS since 1980.

I do not have a 1971 Corvette Assembly Manual.

NOTE: This 9432450 bolt is 5/16"-18 X 3 3/4" with an indented washer hex head with the letter "H" inside the larger letter "C" with 3 radial line segments (Grade 5). This bolt is similar to the later 1971 Corvette bolt, GM # 9419047, which has just the hex head (see item # 451).

The bolt is in very good condition. I only have the single bolt, 2 are required.

Each bolt is 5/16"-18 X 3 7/8" with indented washer hex head with the letter "P" with 3 radial line segments (Grade 5).

Refer to thread entitled "Original 1970 Q-Jet Bolts" (Jan. 14, 2013 to May 10, 2013) and post by M21RSZ28 on Mar. 6, 2013.

NOTE: These bolts are slightly longer than the standard 3967476 1970 Rochester 4BBL bolts because of the thicker heat shield (aka 3969837 insulator).

The 2 bolts are in very good condition.

For Sale: Used Original Spark Plug Wire Upper Rear Left Support, GM # 3932487, and Retainer, GM # 3977555 for 1969 Camaro models with 302. 307. 327. and 350 engines (see photo #4).

This support has the large round hole measuring about 0.82".

The 1969 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC 6, Sheet B9) does not show a part number for the support as it is a part of the engine assembly. The retainer is listed as GM # 3977555.

According to GM Parts History for parts sold over the counter GM # 3932487 was replaced in June 1974 with GM # 3973366 (See items #442 & #444).

The support and retainer are in good useable condition as it just needs a re-paint.

For Sale: Used 1970 Muncie M21 4-speed Transmission from a 1970 Corvette. I bought this transmission in the 1990's from a swap meet in Connecticut for my 1970 Camaro SS350 project which is no longer. When I bought the transmission the cover was off so I could see that the gears inside were in good condition. The main shaft spins freely by hand. I am selling this transmission as a "core" as it should be inspected and probably rebuilt by an expert familiar with Muncie 4-speed transmissions. Back in the 1990's I made a storage support from 2x4's and stored the transmission in a large cardboard box.
As shown in the 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC M20, M21,M22; Sheet A1) the part number for the M21 4-speed is GM # 3968011 used on L34 and Z28 models.

The markings on the transmission are as follows:
1. Main housing casting numbers are "3925661", "9" (for 1969?), and "12" (December?).
The stamped numbers are "P0T30B" (see photo #6).
"P" = Muncie
"0" = 1970 model year
"T" = December
"30" = 30th day of the month (assembled in 1969)
"B" = M21
There is also a larger letter "B" (for M21, I assume) above the partial VIN.
The transmission was assembled on December 30, 1969.
The partial stamped VIN is "70S407318" as shown in photo #6 (the full VIN would have been 194370S407318 or 194670S407318 depending on whether the transmission was installed in a coupe or convertible).
"0= 1970
"S" = St. Louis where Corvettes were assembled
"407318" = serial number of Corvette (this was 1970 Corvette # 7318 of a total of 17,316 made)

2. Side cover casting number is "3952648", "GM", and "3-2" (see photo #2 and # 10).

3. Tail shaft casting number is " 3857584" and "GM" (see photo #7).

4. The front shaft has 10 splines and one groove (M21) (see photo #4).

5. The bracket shown in photo #2 attached to the side cover on the bottom right is GM # 3864296 used on Corvettes. The small bracket shown in photo #3 is GM # 3960696 used on 1970 Corvettes.

$600 cash for the 1970 M21 4-speed for pick up in Merrimack, NH, which is about 50 northwest of Boston, MA.
I am currently building a wooden box (plywood & 2 X 3's) for a POTENTIAL Buyer.
