Hello all, I am new to the Camaro world and asked the guys at my other forum, RegalGS.org, if they could point me in the right direction for help with my new'79 Z28. She needs a lot of work, but has even more potential and I couldn't pass on such a great deal for such a beautiful work of machinery. My name is Travis and no, I am not a Specialist as my name suggests. I have just been going by that name on everything form rgs.org to HPTtuners.com/forum to bobistheoilguy.com and my playstation network. I am a Warrant Officer stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL for flight training. I only took pictures of issues with the car since I took them trying to get advice from my other forum on whether or not I should get it. Now let me see if I can post the pics of my new ride... Nope, okay well here they are on photobucket: http://s973.photobucket.com/albums/ae211/spcrollins405/79 Camaro/ [IMG] [IMG] [IMG][IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Welcome to the board, Im on my way back to Ft Rucker in July. Taking an assignment as a TAC Officer down there. Time to give back to the Warrant Officer community. You'll enjoy the board here, lots of smart people on here.

Wow, thank you all. I honestly did not expect so many replies and thanks brooksman for that tid bit. Chiefs75 really? I will still be here well after July. There's another warrant on here? Just how big is this forum? I absolutely love being a warrant and I have a great respect for my TAC Officers, especially my senior TAC Mr. Mowery if he is still here when you arrive in July. Okay so now I have to ask are you a Chiefs fan or is that in reference to you being a CWO?

There's a lot of current and Prior Service on this forum. As my s/n indicates, I'm a supply NCO. Currently in the Army Reserves. Also was a tanker at one point. My unit has been dangling the warrant officer carrot in front of me for a while, but I'd like to have some kind of assurance that I can finish my degree in a reasonable amount of time if I jump on it. I'd be a PBO if I went Warrant though.
