Need a new 1 piece spoiler for my 70? Carbon Fiber?

Noticed this on my 70 yesterday : (
Stripes run over the spoiler and the paint is 20 years old and so-so. Will be pretty expensive to have it paint matched due to the stripes (I'm in CA). Easily over $1000. I was thinking of getting a carbon fiber replacement and keeping it naked. Looks like Anvil sells one but they only have 1 stock photo that is crap. Classic Industries has one and they use the same stock photo that Anvil uses. Anybody have one installed they can share photos of?

I think Anvil is just selling their piece through Classic Industries.
How the heck does that happen to a one piece spoiler? Looks like it hit the body too.

I'd like to know myself. That's fairly chunky part of it for sure and it seems like it would take a good deal of force. Maybe something was wedged between when it was closed? I dunno. I washed the car 10 days ago and it wasn't there. Took it for a spin to get gas yesterday. Parked it outside of Mel's and saw it when I was walking back to the car.

Perhaps you can take it to a "pro paint jobber" store and they could put the camera on it for a blind family scan, might take a few tries, but you may get a good hit and colour match.

Have the spoiler crack repaired and blend the base coat with stripes taped off then clear the full spoiler, just my take, done this 100's of times.

Good idea. I had a Fiberglass and paint repair done on my 2020 travel trailer recently and that's what the guy who repaired it did. Color was spot on but the clear was a little glossier on that side as he cleared the whole side. Might be the most cost effective way to go. Will post what I end up doing.

D@mn that sucks! That's one thing that concerns me on the low spoilers is that overhang. Hopefully that's going to be a pretty simple repair.

Yes, would be the best way to go, keep the parts original, stripes match up as well. Easy to fix that crack.

This is exactly what I thought when I first looked at your pic.
