    I am swapping in a LS motor (408ci LQ4).

I need some advise on headers.

I have read a lot of threads but I am still a bit confused.

I think I need to go with 1-3/4" primarys.

My big concern is ground clearance. Some seem to hang really low.

So I guess my question is what headers are you using and how is the fit?

    Thanks
    Craig

I have the hooker LS swap headers and they hang low. If I could go back I would buy the mid length or shorty. My car is just a cruiser though so performance loss isn’t a deal breaker for me

Running Hedman mid length ceramic. They fit with no issue, look great.

I used Speed Engineering LS Swap headers on mine as well. They fit great!

I put the Speed Engineering 1 7/8 In my 1970. Fit good and ground clearance is good. If going with the 1 7/8 aftermarket flexible plug wires are a must.

Thanks to everyone for their input. I ordered the Speed Engineering headers this evening.

    Thanks again
