Need help identifying this camaro 1971

    I might buy a camaro 1971 ss the guy say it is a true ss

    with a 4 speed manual , he can sell me the car with or without the motor which is a 402

    I may be wrong but Not sure if those look like the factory rivets

    Looks like the aluminum tag was torn around the right rivet hole when they drilled out the original rivets. I'd walk away.

    Those are not original rivets and if it were a SS396 im pretty sure the trim tag would have LS3 on it. I think that tag is from an SS350. If you can get the VIN you can check the VIN against the trim tag to see if the body and trim tag line up date wise.

    I'd be interested in price and pictures. Depends on how important an original car is to the buyer.

    I will ask for the vin ,the seller is asking 16000$

    the car is all torn apart but he has everything except the interior carpet and headliner , floor look solid ,and it need a paint since the car has been sandblasted.

    i just wanna be sure if it is a real ss and not a ss clone
