Need help with scavenged 406

    That cam seems awfully small for 406 cubed sbc to me. I ran 2 versions of the comp cams 280/480 in the late 80's. It had a pretty good chop in a 355sbc with 041x heads. Ran 13.0's on vacuum secondary and street tires. With a DP carb and slicks it dipped into 12's. 125 shot of laughing gas went 11. 70 at 119mph using nitrous only 2nd and high gear.

    I was told a 400 would swallow up that cam.

    The can he has picked is almost the same as the 268H cam, just a little more exhaust duration. That cam will pull well to 5500 in a 400 SBC.
