That's what my old Radial T'As looked like right after cleaning then 5 days later they turned yellowish grey, then brown.
Used that product and everything under the sun. No difference.
I've yet to meet anyone that has bought them within the last 2 years that they stay white. In fact....yours in that picture are a nice shade of " off yellow" compared to the Coopers.
I tried the paint, but has not been on there long enough to 'review" you are right kenny 77,, the newer ones are crap! Brown rubber must be cheaper than white???
I have a 1970 SS 396 L-34 Camaro that I bought in June 2012. I bought 4 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires (they were last to be made in the end of 2009) I have about 8,000 miles on them. They look almost new and are not dry at all. they are out of the sun until I drive the Camaro. I do think about they are 12 1/2 years old, but ride great. What is members opinion about them failing when driving? The sidewalls look great. The rubber is not dry at all.
Thanks John.
Dude, those old ass tires... the rubber IS NOT the problem. The problem is the glue that holds the tread to the belts is dried out . When the tire heats up enough the tread WILL separate from the belts in chunks.
Don't be stupid.
Get them off the car.
Don't wreck your car because of 13 year old tires.
Don't die.
