Sure an improvement just with it out of the muck. Ragtop Mustangs aren't noted for good floors even under good conditions, what do those look like?

used 302 and cheap trans, fix the brakes, new tires and drive it like you stole it! leave the restoration to the next owner. jim

My dad once had a green 67 390, auto, fastback that I wanted so bad. I went to Thailand in Jan 73, told him NOT to sell it. First gas crunch hit, he sold it. I came home, NOT pleased.
