Both of those examples are ugly as hell IMO. I never like much about any of the euro cars.
if GM keeps building cars that look like EVERY OTHER sedan they're going to need another bailout soon
how about the style of the new Chevy "Blazer" vs the new Bronco?
Cookie cutter cars...
There are so many systems, safety, emission and mileage requirements in today’s cars that individuality has been strangled.
The general public wouldn’t be able to afford cars that stray from standard manufacturing processes and platforms.
668 HP Caddy with Brembos.....I'm feeling it.
I'm not a fan of non-integral display screens either. Feels lazy when they just get pasted on top like the BMW. I get that space behind the dash is at a premium, but come-on
That steering wheel is not the one for the Blackwing. It is for the current CT5 V.
The only shot of the Blackwing steering wheel that I'vw found is below - from the teaser release. I like the carbon fiber accents and the little red flash. The "V" (lower left) on the wheel is (I believe) the control to select touring, sport or track performance modes.
It's intentionally blurry to add to the "mystique"...
FWIW - I don't see any dramatic differences between the BMW steering wheel you posted vs the one in my current Cadillac or the current CT5 V. The Mercedes has some wood trim with the leather - I prefer leather - so I'm good with the both the Caddy and BMW versions.
I remember having this discussion when John (Buick Funny Car) bought his Audi. I just hate that look.
Toyota Camry 2020 dash display vs. 2021
2021 Camry dash. I've been shopping for a new Camry for my wife, and the new dash display was the biggest negative for me, started looking at 2020 models.
i get the theory, like for maps it keeps your eyes up higher. but jumpin jesus i looks like a rig job.
