Found this 1978, yes 1978, Z-28 an hour after it was posted. Went to check it out and pretty good shape for it's age. Car has a repaint (Original color was black) and the owner I purchased it from added the '79 stripe package because the 1978 decals weren't enough. You'll notice lack of front spoiler in the picture. Original 4 speed Norwood built. The owner previous to him dropped ina 1975 Chevrolet truck 4 bolt main 350 and bolted a TH400 to it. Fortunately all the floor brackets and shifter hump were left intact. I have a 383 + Super T-10 that I intend on installing. So, to remove the clutch pedal they merely cut the clutch pedal just below the pivot arm. Some people's kids. Fortunately I pull parts at yards, if I believe I can use them (eventually) or clean up and sell. So I fortunately have all that I need to hook up the new drive train. Interior is rough but everything is made, I have it, and I can stitch up some new seat covers. I didn't know if I should of used the custom center console or replace it. It's already on the junk pile going to the city yard so I can't sell it too you.The front seats are 3rd gen and a friend took them. I'll keep adding pictures as I get them. For now the plans are to replace what needs replaced, any minor repairs, and drive it this Spring - Summer - Autumn. I'll take care of minor rust areas after my current project is finished. Or as it states, "are we ever done with our project?" So if there are any drive ins in my area this year that are allowed, I'll have a ride. Not a 1K pointer and never will be. Going to be a driver.
