New brake booster

    Need help to find 9 inch brake booster that fits a 79 Z/28. Part numbers and pic would be very helpful. Big block valve covers hit.

    1979 Trans Am 4 wheel disc dual diaphragm 9". More efficient than the 11" single booster also.

    Any Autozone, NAPA or O reilly's should be able to get it. Ames might or might not have one (our board sponsor).

    I suggest the 1981 booster with the matching MC, you will need new lines

    I just ordered a 9 inch from Rock Auto. 79 firebird 6.6L 403cid. See what happens. Thanks guys for all of your help.

    I think you have to specify 4 wheel disk brakes, I'll need one for my project as well.

    It says rear disc brakes. rock auto part number 54-71228 Cardone. 79 firebird 6.6 403ci. 9 inch booster.
