so i took the 02 fifth wheel into the local camper place to have the a/c and awning fixed, they call me up and tell me the bill is $124.00 . not too bad, other then the fact the wife went with me saturday to pay and she started looking at new ones.i said ok we can look, i was content with a 27 foot that had bunks and slept 8. nope, not enough for her, started out with just had to have bunks, then it went to it has to have outdoor kitchen, and well while we are at it, it has to have a seperate door for the bathroom.so now we are the owners of a 35 foot jayco eagle ultra light.

    Congrats

Did you shop craigslist and for sale ads before buying from a dealer ???

    Reason I ask is......
I was almost going to grab a late 80's 30 footer for $2000 with minor upgrades needed.
Sooooo many deals out there to be had from people liquidating their luxury items.

I'm in the middle of selling my Jayco Eagle 12 pop up.

no i did not look into craigslist, i wasn't really looking to trade lol. but they did me ok, they gave me $4000.00 more then i owed on the 5th wheel, and took $2000.00 off the msrp.now i get 10% of any purchase, free use of dumping station( good job for the wife)plus each spring they do a once over to check everything in working order for as long as i own it.the thing that really did it for the wife was when we were looking we walked by our's and it really does not have any nice graphics and she says ' man that is ugly"

I'd be all over it man.....

But my new community I'm moving to has restrictions about RV's.
Sucks, but it's the price to pay living outside of Chicago in a great area.

I'd have to go rural or smaller home in a more lenient area to keep one.

I just bought a 37' toyhauler and can't keep it at my house either. I have to pay for a storage facility. But I can't wait to use the trailer this summer!
