Too bad its still a dodge. NVH comes standard with it, a good trans is extra. Warranty support can't be bought at any price. Lol

Meh, I'll take my 2nd gen Nova. A lot lighter, only 500 hp, about a full second or more slower in the 1/4, and will still stomp a mudhole in the majority of these things I'll ever encounter on the street. 1. Because I won't ever see that many 2. Because most that have the money to buy the Demon won't be able to get it down the 1/4. No soul, sorry, does nothing for me lol.

    Bad ass !!! :)

Already banned by NHRA for its elapsed time record for a production car . I love the big & little tires , drag radials and transbrake

    Why so somber ??

Dodge has just released the fastest production street /strip car ever produced . Also has destroyed NHRA's production car ET/mph record . let me again show you ........... How about 9.65 /140mph in the 1/4 mile

Has there ever been a production based car equipped from the factory with big & little tires , TransBrake , line lock and Drag radials. oh and 845 hp !!!

Just imagine running a smaller blower pulley and a 200hit of nitrous , this would put this street legal car deep into the 8's well over 150mph

It's not a true production car. It's a limited production specialty car for bragging rights in a pissing contest. My grandmother if she was still alive could not walk into the Pentastar dealership and buy one like she could have with a hemi in 1969 right off the lot... With a half dozen to choose from. Plus the styling is just plain old and dated now. Just looks like a 10 year old car. Do like the fatty and skinnies but I could throw them on a 2008 along with an aftermarket hood and have the same look.
It's for people with more money than brains......Or underendowed men. Jmho.

If I had the money I'd be all over this Demon , it would be a fun street strip car

I don't know that much about drag racing, but doesn't a car need a cage to go that fast? Is that why NHRA banned it? It is a really impressive achievement but what is it good for if you can't run it on the strip? I guess you could drive it around showing off... with a big grin on your face!:) OK, I get it now. Never mind...
