I had no idea they were building new GTOs hahahaha, or for that matter new Trans Ams, or that pontiac had signed away the rights

    From motor trend
In 2010, GM closed Pontiac's doors for good and it seemed like America's most iconic muscle car, the Firebird Trans Am, was dead and would never come back. But brothers Scott and Todd Warmack, obsessed with muscle cars and determined to bring them back, purchased the exclusive rights to Trans Am and set out to build brand new Trans Ams.

Those were two really cool videos. I didn't know someone picked up the ball on Pontiac like that.

Back in the Mid 2000's the zone rep showed us a picture of the new GTO coming in 2004. It had that front end in the picture. Sadly the bean counters over rode the good look with the GP front end. The rest is history, another car that did not sell well. Leave it to GM to shoot themselves in the foot.

These guys had a TV show. Last yr? I wanna say. On Discovery I believe. 6 or 8 episodes. I really enjoyed it. After the Bandit edition T/As they developed a SD455 T/A. Over 1000HP from a 455ci LS small block. Didnt really show anything on the GTOs. They have 2 shops in Florida. Trans am worldwide & Trans am Depot. One is for the new cars, & the other one retores 70s T/As and other vintage muscle cars. Each brother over sees each of the 2 shops. I assume they didnt get re upped for a 2nd season. Motor trend channel shows some reruns occasionally. It's worth a watch. I thought it was a good show

I wonder what those shops will pay for an original Bandit T/A shell?

(There’s one sitting on the other side of a shed next to my property.)

Owner says he has the parts to put it back together but the floors have got to be Swiss cheese after all these years outside.

I love 67 Goats and I had a 77 Firebird back in high school. Always had a soft spot for the Ponchos. Perhaps I could snag one of these new ones if they are still making them when I retire, lol.
