Hey everyone. I'm new here...kinda. I was a regular member of this site before early 2003 when I was working on my 1978 Camaro Type LT alot. I entered the Air Force in 2003 and have rarely seen my Camaro since then. There was a short 6 month period when I had my car with me in South Carolina but the weather was too harsh on it and I shipped it back home to Cali. I bought a 2004 Silverado to drive instead of my Camaro. Anyways, my Camaro is a Type LT with minor Z28 details. I have the 78-79 fender grilles with a 80-81 hoodscoop. I also installed 73 Z28 fender emblems on the front fenders because I wanted actual emblems instead of decals. It also has Hotchkis 2" drop springs in the front. The engine is a 2001 Goodwrench 350 crate motor with a mild Crane cam and an Edelbrock Performer intake. Tranny is a built 350 with a TransGo kit...3.08 open rear out back. Interior is blue/white which makes it very unique I think with the ORIGINAL white paint. I see my Camaro occasionally when I go back home on leave. My dad a car guy himself so he takes good care of it. Look forward to chatting with you all again. This site has changed alot!! Here are some pics...

Looks good. Always nice to see another 78 Type LT Z-28 clone. Mine is as well, only I have the 80-81 fender scoops and the 78-79 hood. I have the front spoiler and as well but elected to leave them off.
Good luck on your career if you decide to stay in. I'm just about ready to retire (well I've been ready) sometime next year.
