I flagged that email from Holley, figured someone else would be looking at those. I'm considering but I installed halogens and relays a few years ago, and do almost no night driving. Would be hard for me to justify, maybe when the price comes down. Please let us know how they work out.

I'm still loving the HID conversion I did about 10 years ago using the 2008 Acura TL projectors. I swapped over to D2S LED bulbs a couple years ago and they'll easily compete with anything coming out of the factory these days.

I don’t see why Holley starting to sell a made in China headlight for $200 that can be bought on EBay for $50 is exciting?!?!?
Dapper has been selling a made in USA headlight for years.

Some of the LED conversions can do some odd stuff the voltage. Some will throw CEL’s On newer cars. Probably not an issue on pre OBD2.

HID>than LED as the light disperses better. But HID is a lot more involved

Only a couple of factory vehicles are using LEDs for headlights.
(New hybrid Ford trucks, for example.)

Almost all headlights are either halogen or HID.

I would think more would be using LEDs if they were superior.

My belief is that it's "Holley" named.

I think its actually cost. My Ram Limited has LED headlights, the other models don't. They are superior light quality when I compare their performance to my other car.

Looked at them all. Dapper Lights l Their Lights look like they have the eyeball look Don t care for that look.In our electrical lab we have all the Led headlights made out their and being tested a lot of headlights on our Motorcycles have the eyeball look . The reason i like the Holley lights is that they look stock when turned off and thats the look i,m going for.
