New Poly Urethane Motor Mounts

Thought this was going to be a PIA even with the engine out of the car but it wasn't bad at all. Here are the old mounts:

I kept 1/2 the rivet instead of using the cable ties:

You will like them, I did the same.

I swapped to those too. Keep in mind they sit a little higher than worn out stock mounts so when you put the engine in it may seem like they won’t fit but after the battle you will get them in. Sometimes you get lucky and the engine drops right in.
My point is if it does not drop right in. Don’t despair…just know they will work.

Also, would you mind telling me where you bought these?

I used Energy Suspension on my 71,,,also did the trans mount with ES,,, great fit....happy.

I think I figured it out. The one shown above is just the insert. This one is complete:

I did the same and as jthomas mentioned it was a pain getting the engine to drop in.....the old worn out rubber mounts were more forgiving. But felt the BB torque needed something better than the rubber mounts.
