I don't ever see that Camaro returning to the street - looks WAY too cut up...but guys are always looking for a cheap drag car

most of the welds I see on "drag" cars around here are sh*t, and 9" rears are just out of a 79 Ford truck & bubblegummed together...basically worthless

the seller thought the 454 had a blown head gasket since water came out of the drivers side header. pulled the heads, looks at the cylinders and heads didnt see anything obvious, so new head gaskets, rpm intake, fuel pump and rod, bolted a dried out old holley on it, dumped gas down the carb and fired right up.
next up, take the carb off the chevelle and hook the fuel pump to a gas can and see it idle. jim

I posted it up on racing junk and will probably post it on craigslist to see if I can swing a trade before I do anything to it.
if not, I'm going to break out the mig and start fixing, bracing and hang9ng the sheetmetal. jim
