New shocks/struts for 84 Trans Am

Someone in another post suggested I replace my shocks/struts and bushings because my car hits hard when I go over a bump or into a hole. Makes it really an uncomftarable ride sometimes.

My question is, what are some good shocks/struts that I can buy for my 84 Trans Am. If possible, under 100 dollars for each wheel. No more than 500 dollars for the whole set. I will be installing it myself.

Also, anyone know of a good bushing kit?
