They're little (2") and hide underground.

Hard to be frightened of something you'll never see or even knew existed.

Though... It would definitely be "endangered" if I saw one crawling across my garage floor.

Yeah I thought "giant" was a bit of an exaggeration, probably to catch more readers' eyes.

As long as spiders stay outside my house, I'm good with them and will leave them alone. Inside though, I'm afraid they are toast! If my cat is around, she likes a nice, quick snack to munch on!
