New spindles?

I'm putting together a few loose ends I need for my suspension as I am almost done with it, and I was wanting opinions on spindles.
I am putting a wilwood brake kit on my stock ones so I'll have new bearings, my spindles seem to be in fine condition, but they're also 47 years old.
I was looking into getting the spindles PTFB supplies since most other vendors supply drop spindles that I do not want. Would this be recommended? or unnecessary.

I'll need to figure this out before I buy brakes since the PTFB spindles are based on 79-81 and use different bearings.

Well that's a bummer, seeing how I already have the wilwood brake kit, and bought the PTFB spindles for my 1977 LT. The inner bearings seem to be the same, but the smaller outer ones stop right after the threads. Same thought as you SPG, 45 year old spindles, might as well replace them while it's all apart. I wasn't aware PTFB's spindles were based off the 79-81 cars. Guess I'll call Wilwood and see if they have the right bearings. I'm sure someone has dealt with this issue here, right?

Dickson TN.
PTFB spindles use A6 inner and A3 outer bearings, same as 79-81 the outer is larger and can handle more load, I believe you may be able to use A34 outer bearings.

I appreciate the information. Are you suggesting the A34 because of the Wilwood kit, instead of the A3?

Thanks again BonzoHansen and 79T/Aman. A call to Dave and Wilwood got it sorted out. Correct on the A34 bearing, but the race needs replaced too, just to clarify. P/n LM12748. I didnt know until Dave mentioned it. SPG, you could order your Wilwood kit, and tell them you have the later spindles. The hubs will come with the correct races and bearings. Hope this helps, and keep wrenchin'.

Thanks, I ended up just buying the new spindles and will get the correct wilwood kit associated with it when the time comes
I'll keep my old spindles just in case though

I thought a34 would be right. That's what the kore3 hub I have would use
