    Does that allow you to be in the park after it's closed? typically parks close at dusk. Just trying to figure out what it's for.

    Exactly. But that doesn't power the outrage machine.:)
    Most of VA State parks close at dusk, and some allow camping after... which you have to buy a pass for. Because it costs money to run the parks.
