    I haven't done anything to my car. My husband put a new fuel tank on it two years ago, a new headliner and the new tires....I haven't driven it in many years....It has just been sitting in the garage. I've now driven it on occasion for the last two years..now 22,000 miles.

    Also...concerning my seats...my invoice sheet says...

    Old thread but my original tires were Firestone Steel Radial 500s.
    World famous exploding tires. I bought my car new and thats what it came with.
    They were changed out under warranty within a year.
