Picked this up last weekend. 1994 Z/28, good looking huh?;)

Pulled the engine and transmission this weekend.

Started to disassemble the engine and found this in pretty much both sides.

The car was sitting for five years. The LT1 and 4L60E will go into the '71 after the engine gets rebuilt. The dang thing only had 65,000 miles on it. I would like to go 383 on it, but we will see.

God I was hoping you weren't gonna post a video of yourself driving down the road ;)

Good luck on the build. It should be one sweet ride when you're done.

Should still be plenty of performance parts out there for the LT1's.....stick with the LT4 style heads and a nice 'non stock' style intake and that thing'll shred tires.....

What was in the cylinders was a water/coolant oil mix. It got in somehow, not sure how yet, more investigation ought to answer that.
