Hello all ! Havent been over here in a long, long time . Just thought I'd tell yall about the reincarnation of the newschool72. First off, an unidentified object found the right door and released a chunk of paint about silverdollar sized, so I broke out the rattle cans and sprayed her flat black with blue hash marks in tribute to the grandsport vetted of the 60s, along with a single wide blue stripe down the center like the black stripe on the original paint job. I got a sewing machine for Christmas last year and sewed my first interior with Toyota supra transformer seats up front and cut foam and stitched my own design for the back seat. I had to build the rear seat because I designed a triangulated 4 link for the rear axle that has the upper links protruding into the cabin. The car now sits on coil overs on all 4s.
Still running the LS3, but it kinda morphed into something I little angrier too. A 80mm billet turbo from VSracing on a homemade turbo system bumps the output by another 400 hp at 12.5 psi. I had Bullet Racing cut a custom cam to suit the new induction along with a single plane holly intake and FiTech 1200pa TB. I'm still tinkering with the innovate scg-1 boost controller and J & S safegaurd individual cylinder knock/timing controller to get it all dialed in. It's running great , but its fat and I'm not pushing the timing at all. I'm running a dual nozzle water/meth system too. It should be making around 900hp at the flywheel or roughly 750rwhp .
If someone can guide me in the black arts of picture downloading, I will post a few pics up.
It's been a slow, painful process to get new school where she is now. I'm still dealing with deteriorating discs in my neck and back, but hoping to get some relief soon . Gonna get some nerves burned in my neck and get some hardwear removed in my back in Hope's of being able to live with less of these meds that allow me to get up and tinker a little bit every now and then.
I've missed all my stinky, Walmart shopping, degenerate , deplorable mullet wearing cohorts over here on the Nasty !
