I will get a picture of it tonight.
If you have a 70-78 NPD dash, there are no tub grommets....they failed to get those in the dash when they designed it. You will need an alternative. I glued thin piece of Sheetmetal to the dash for screws to bite into
Here are mine...empty holes...
Looks like I am also missing the clips that go into the metal dash that hold these screws....
Where did you glue the pieces? On the dash pad? Or on the metal dash?
On the dash pad where the grommets are supposed to be. I scuffed the area and used a 2-part epoxy.
Did you put them in the inner layer? Or can they be seen above the steering wheel?
Is that an oval shaped hole?
No, it's a metal insert or plate but there is no hole...
Did you epoxy that metal here above the red circle? (See pic below)?
mount the dash in the position you want it to be. use you hand and push the dash tight up against the metal body structure and then take a marking pen or something to mark the screw holes. remove the dash and drill the holes with a very small and tiny drill bit. you can use the oem screws to mount the dash. the hard plastic tabs in the npd dash will work just fine. just don't use a socket or a ton of force to tighten them.
