My sister keeps a can of Aqua Net handy for spiders. It slowly freezes them in a shell so they can get squished. Little black spiders that get in the house will bite. They feel like a flea. I get them in the bathroom a lot. Outside I don't care. Inside is a problem then it's Dad to the rescue. Big roaches too.

when bored, we used to "shoot down" the flies in the shop with starting fluid (ether). Their buzzing would stop & they'd drop to the countertops. In a minute, they'd slowly crank back up; the pitch of their buzzing increasing. Lift off and rotation; fit for another round. Ahh, life was simple & sweet ... or was that ether working on us as well ?

Have no tolerance for pests/vermin inside my home.

Afraid of spiders? Come on.....No biggie. But on the other hand, snakes scare the living S*#@ out of me!
When I was in cairnes and papua new ghinea the amount of poisonous snakes was alarming! Some are so territorial they chase unsuspecting people who walk by their nests. They are called black papuan vipers. Super deadly bite.
