Just saw your X-rays. Your surgeon did some very tidy work. Th screws are solidly in place, nothing close to the edges which can splinter off. Anterior approach is a better way to get in there. You're gonna feel so much better. I don't see any Allograft or Bone Morphogenic Protein packed in there...so is he relying solely on the instrumentation? Did he harvest bone from your hip? Cadaver?
Certainly looks better than my distal biceps reattachment, which looks like I did it myself.

REALLY glad you're feeling better Goalie. Gall bladder surgery is no joke. I lost 25 lbs in a week when they removed my appendix. It burst on the way out. Sicker than a dog for 2 weeks.
