Hhmm...I'll take a look there as well. Maybe someone can post up a pic of that plug being used?

I have Daniels oil pressure gauge and the OEM idiot light in my car. The oil galley behind the distributor I have a T and a 90 elbow on each end of the T with the OEM sender and the large oil pressure sender you have, MSD HEI distributor. Have to get the angles right but works fine. Hopefully these pictures help.

That's how mine is. The sending unit for a gauge is a little bulky and takes up more space. I have my gauge sender tapped into the port above the oil filter. Still plenty of room between it and the headers. The switch for the oil light is a lot smaller and doesn't interfere with anything at the port behind the intake on the top of the block. It works great for me.

Sounds good to me as well. Would you happen to have a pic of this port?

The oil filter ports good , just close to header for routing. Just above filter

The picture is a little deceiving. The port is a little closer to the back of the block than it appears in the picture. The picture makes it look like it's directly below the exhaust port on cylinder #7....but it's actually far enough back that it's not too close to the header tube. 20200916_155622.jpg 20200916_155634.jpg
