    Interesting that the code for black paint is a number and it's on cowl tag & build sheet.

    Scott, This car never came thru Camaro Natl's so our group never discussed the trim tag etc etc...

    Car was certified VINTAGE original at MCACN and dont know their conclusions about LA trim tag ???
    Matches LA build sheet info so thinking it must be legit tag ????

    Chuck, yeah I'm not questioning the trim tag, I just find it interesting and was making an observation. There's no doubt the car is legit... Such a cool car IMHO, as is Phil's in his photo above!

    Pretty sure there was 71Z that went for more at Barrett-Jackson several years ago.............????
    ( I remember as this 71' had a 72/73 grill)

    Jack Seymore's survivor 70 Z sold for A LOT (???) to private collection in Calif

    $100K, that is a good chunk of change for that car. Very nice Z and glad it brought more than the estimate. Pretty sure the new owner is happy with that purchase.
