Is that correct to have the VIN plate held down with screws? Our 73 has rivets
That is the trim tag. They are attached by screws in 74. The vin tag is riveted to the dash drivers side.
The screws started in like April of 73 . You will see late 73s like they too .
Yeah, trim tag's what I meant - sorry
I had that piping you speak of-orange on blue seats. looked strange but definitely different. very rare I would think. I don't have pics either.
Since my seats were black it looked ok, at least to me.
The tire pressure sticker, aircleaner base sticker are repops. The lid sticker isn't supposed to be there. I just wonder how original this thing really is...
Cool rare option Z.But I don't think its a California car. The body tag said its built in Norwood Ohio.Didn't California have a F-body plant?
Oh man you're right! I didn't see the front spoiler but it's there!
That looks a bit funky , as does the strange refinishing of the wheels (awful). I think the present owner didn't do a lot of research and got in hurry, and did what ever quick replacement to sell it , by patching worn items with out regard to quality .That tire sticker is for a different car year as Jonesy pointed out and the addition of old style HP cleaner lid sticker was common even back in the late 70's to those cars .
Attention to detail makes a difference .
