does any one make a correct looking p/s hose for a 70 ss 396 camaro. I can get aftermarket ones but they do not have correct crimps and length tubes. ed

Why not take your original one to a hydraulic hose place that makes hoses. It'll be cheaper and they probably have all the ends.

i use the one npd has in the cat. hose does not have the correct #'s on it but the crimps and fittings are very close. the return line does not have the correct bend in the metal tubing. but the pressure hose is close.
    here is a original one

Ed, just an idea incase you don't find anything..... If your tubes are ok maybe you could find someone that can replace just hoses and reuse your original tubes?

    Nice pic's Ken!
To bad the tubing on the repro return line is to short otherwise a person could do some bending themselves with a tubing bender and make it match the original.

This seems to be a problem with a small market.........

Hopefully someone will have vendor knowledge of someone who can help ??

What about the hard to find clamp that holds hoses to bottom of steering box ??

don't know if anyone has used this place, this is gm's unofficial resto parts supplier. i use them a lot. a lot of hard to find parts with gm numbers and good diagrams. they also carry a lot of nos stuff. there p/s hoses are as close as you will find. get one of their catalogs has a lot of good stuff in it.
