Picked up my new FX4 EcoBoost truck tonight. All I can say is Ford has come a long way since my 1976 Pinto. Very, very, very nice truck. Will be on a business trip tomorrow so will follow up with a mileage post sometime after work. First 20 miles home averaged 18.5 for what that's worth.
As for the engine it's dead quiet and very strong for a little 6 banger! Let the mods begin.

Seeing a customer in Tomah to play in the sand! Saw Dick and Heidi last weekend. Hoping to see you at the Rome car show.

It was a very long wait. Was lucky though as Chicago got hail the other day and they are holding all cars there until insurance inspections are complete.

Truck is superb though and was worth the wait. Since I don't have a pic account I'll email some to Scotty and he can post tomorrow sometime. Screw with 6.5 bed is a TIGHT fit in the garage. Cabin is huge and super impressed with the room in the second row.

Can't get over how quiet it is, that was really impressive. Capt chairs as well are superb and the SYNC for the phone and IPOD is killer.

    What a nice truck.

    I certainly won't miss my 94 Nissan

Bahaha! I read a lot of posts on the Ford site of folks pissin about that and was the first thing the Sales guy mentioned. I think he's taken some flack for that. Doesn't bother me a bit. It looks just fine to me.

The intercooler is actually bigger than I thought it would be but still on the small side. I can see a full exhaust upgrade and a cooler upgrade sometime in the future when available.

This is going to be one heck of a truck I think.
