Not to hijack, but I'm looking how to kill/rid clover from a centipede grass lawn.

Pre-emergent herbicide (prevents root development) and manually pulling are your best options as centipede grass won't tolerate 2-4-D (post emergent) herbicide.

So there is a guy up here in the northwest (Seattle area) that rents out his small herd of goats to the city to take care of weeds and unwanted vegetation under bridges etc...
He says they eat anything!

Do you like goats?

My wife mixes 2 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap and 2 cups of vinegar. then sprays it directly on the weed she wants gone. It works great. If it is an area is somewhere she doesn't want anything to grow back, she adds a good amount of salt.
Also she says apply it during the warmest part of the day for best results.
