Only issue I ever had with them came to a warranty. The item I bought, an ABS sensor had a lifetime warranty but when I went to replace it they no longer carried that brand and all the replacements only had a one year. Pretty typical I guess. I only had the car for a little while longer anyway.

In the same topic. I have a Sears Diehard that was advertised in 1978 as the last battery you will ever buy. Anybody know where I can get it replaced?

Might want to hurry on that battery replacement. I hear they are going bankrupt tomorrow. But I'd say that battery 'died hard' for sure.

From ACC through Summit....look at this Rock-Auto!....ACC does offer different colors. I guess you are wrong.
I recently ordered new black carpet and floor mats for my 1970 Camaro. Researching on ACC carpets website I see you get to customize colors. When you order from ACC directly as well as JEGS and Summit, you pick the color then you pick the logo of the mats, then you pick the color of the logo. I did the same exact method on Rock-Auto and instead of getting black mats with a blue logo, I get blue mats with a red logo. I told them how the website leads you down the wrong path and they proceeded to argue with me back how I'm wrong and the website is right. Then I ask them how I order the correct mats and they said the red logo is the only option...which is not true.

It's been awhile since I have ranted about RockAuto but even though I've had crappy experiences with them in the past, I gave them another go round and absolutely, absolutely will not be a return customer. Their customer service is crap, their website has incorrect data and not one of the several emails I sent received anything other than their automatic canned response. Not one person would even entertain the thought of verifying my question. Summit on the other hand was a bit more expensive, but was very responsive and got my business on this part, as well as a continued customer.

I know they are a site sponsor, but gee whiz, don't just brush off when someone is trying to bring something that is incorrect on your website to your attention.

I have never used RA, so no dog in the fight there, I do however use Amazon, when it is cheaper or I need it quicker, and I like the free shipping. Anyways bought a set of quick release NRG brand , cost a little over $200 for the hub and the quick release, watched the delivery and it said delivered, I looked outside not parts, looked at the delivery log, and it said , driver left package in safe place , WTF , so I go on easter egg hunt for the parts , find nothing, call Amazon, they said, will send parts again, with 25% discount.
Well second delivery, it said customer returned, because box was damaged, I called Amazon, and they said , WTF, to make it right they said, they are refunding all the money and sending a set FREE , and if the first set that was left in a safe place ever shows up, keep it, as our gift,
So I finally received the parts, they switched to USPS to deliver instead of Amazon , and then yesterday, after 3 weeks, the first box showed up, HAA HA , so I am sticking with Amazon, when I can. Anyone need a quick release??

Maybe an ACE hardware. They have Craftsman tools at my local store.

Just rec'd my order from RockAuto, perfect ! Everything in great condition, no picking errors and quicker delivery than originally quoted. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have ordered from them and couldn't be happier.

During restoration of my 80' Camaro I have made 48 purcashes from RA (just counted the fridge magnets). Never had a problem.
Once I wanted to return a set of braking calipers due to some specific breaking pads not fitting right- I got a response that it is not worth to send it back (I am from Slovenia) and that I can keep them + I got my money back.
