Picked one of these up the other day, been using a buddy's for a while. While I'm not looking at it to tell me the thickness of the material, the sound it makes on the panels can really tell the story.
It's one of the tools I use when looking at cars.

Collected these today from two different sources. 4 12oz and one 14oz of R-12 with a cap tap thrown in. All in for $60 so $12 a can, I'm okay with that. Gives me 62oz, full system recharge calls for 60oz I think. Probably keep looking...........

That stuff is getting harder and harder to find. Propane will work as a drop in replacement. It’s also the same as the new R290 found in new reach in refrigerators, coolers and small freezers. I’ve done many repairs and charged many units with the propane. It works awesome. Way better then the R134!

3DD05CC2-5CBF-4491-97BF-1194117A83C5.jpeg Most recent purchase.. along with some mounting brackets and transmission crossmember from Muscle Rods. Can’t wait to stuff it in there and see how bad it won’t fit.

Hahahaha. This had me laughing out loud. I learned about that wood chipper sound recently myself. 40’s is brutal. Man I miss the 20’s...

Decent find. If most of the metal is salvageable I’d pay $2500- $3500 for something like that here in the Midwest. Mine was $1800 11 yrs ago for a shell and a title with the wrong SBC non-running in similar shape.

If you don't mind sharing, where did you pick that up?
Been keeping an eye out for a low mileage pull out.

New Sound System for my Inner Sanctum. The room is 10ft x 14ft and configured for a listening position of one (me). Denon X1500H, RSL 10S sub and four Boston Acoustic A25 speakers for front and rear surround. The Denon is 80 watts per channel which is not much but for the size of my room the volume is more then enough. My desk top pc is connected to the Denon What I get is clean-clear sound from the highs down to the subrange

Made a 3 hr trip to GA to pick up this 1979 trans am. Some of the options are, 400 4 speed, it actually has a five speed Richmond trans in it, WS6 with disc brakes and 8in wheels. Zero rust 20210522_142336.jpg 20210522_142319.jpg 20210522_142306.jpg
