I've been spending more time with bicycles. Especially now with gas here over $5 a gal.

I've bought and flipped a couple and I just picked up another vintage 10 speed.
Calling a 1980 bike vintage makes me feel old but, here is my 1980 Raleigh Grand Prix.
I plan on keeping this one for street riding. Since I'm transferring to a nearer store, 4.5 miles away, I may even commute to work a time or two when the weather is cool enough.

Reminds me of my 76 Schwinn.

Yamaha 2200 watt inverter generator. After the mass power outages Texas had in winter 2021, we were without power for 5 days. I'm ready this year. Already used it last month when the storms and tornadoes knocked out our home power. Does the job for what we need. Fantastic generator.

I love vintage 10-speeds! I laughed when you said "when the weather is cool enough" - in Canada we commute when the weather is 'warm enough'. Well some do it all year, and I used to as well, but lost interest in that a few years back.

Many years ago, I remember driving up towards the university one winter morning and saw an idiot riding his bike, in -20C temperatures, windy and blowing snow, on Crowchild Trail as I drove on bridge over the Bow River. That guy was absolutely nuts!!!
