Just bought a 1976 Vega with a 454, 4 speed. Fun as hell

Kewl beans! Probably scary as hell too! I have a '76 Monza that I've had since '78! Original V8/4-speed car, had 4.3L originally which I built once at 100,000 miles and then after another 100,000 miles I built a 350 for it!

Saw a Monza at a local shop many years ago that they were shoehorning a big block into. Total hack job! Welded motor mounts, the valve covers stuck up over the fenders so no hood ever. Never saw the car on the road. They probably twisted it into a pretzel on the first drive (IF it ever drove)!

Pictures hopefully tomorrow. Just got a call. I pre ordered a motorcycle sight unseen 8 months ago. It arrived at warehouse yesterday, and may be ready for pick up tomorrow.

Downfall, it’s an hour away and it’s supposed to storm all day. May not go get it. But if weathers nice. I will have photos!

1940's vintage delta 6x48 belt sander/grinder I picked up last week for my shop. Havent been able to date it exactly yet but I know the baldor motor on it looks identical to the one in my 1943 Grob band saw. It also wears a brass tag like my saw that was owned by the navy in WW2.
