Got a another SBC (like I needed that lol) supposed to be a 350 turns out it's a 383 as it's an 010 block with a 400 damper. Will need to go through it, got a buyer for the air gap and I will re-work the fuelie heads and then sell them. I am going to use the shortblock for a friend who wants to go fast.
UPDATE: This is for sure a 383, pulled the heads and it looks like forged dished piston, have to be forged as they have too much piston to wall clearance for Hypers. Going to sell the heads as they are in mint cond. with screw in studs and guide plates. 10° Locks and retainers with super good springs. The guy who owned it said it knocked but it looks like because the cam went flat that was his noise. Has scat rods and the block fasteners are all ARP. Got a buyer for the air gap. I figured it was a good deal.

All I can say is Man, you must live right! lol
He had another 400 that just sold last week with Sportsman II heads and an Air Gap for $500, but I was too late getting that one.
swap meet find. .45 cal percussion pistol with a stabby thing. 35 bucks, I figured why not. About a year ago I bought a brand new one without the blade at the same swap meet, guy thought it was a display gun, bought it for 5 bucks. I guess these were sold as kit guns back in the day. jim
