That is true, like today. I got a cast 350 crank cut .010 on both sides, some .030 flat top forged pistons with GM rods and ARP bolts, 2 new Melling oil pumps and other goodies for a paltry sum of $125.

Like the Rod Stewart song "Some guys have all the Luck."

My ex father in-law passed a little while ago, they did an E auction for his shop tools. He had a nice Bridgeport mill, couple small lathes and countless hand tools. Picked up this saw, couple Milwaukee drills, Bosch jig saw, Mitutoyo dial calipers, 2 new dial indicators and some misc hand tools. He was a machinist by trade but spent the last 20 plus years working for GE setting up mfg facilities around the world. Pretty smart guy.
Thought his sign was pretty cool too.

Got this today for $50 bucks

Todays score. One set of 062 Vortec heads with 2.02/1.5 valves, screw in studs, Scorpion roller rockers, guides cut down, mildly ported. Along with a Vortec Air Gap RPM intake, a pair of ball milled polished valve covers and the guy threw in a Edelbrock rolling thunder Hyd roller cam, all used for $350. Couldn't pass that deal up.
