Post pictures when on...I always liked that style and look, those and the salt flats wheels look really good with certain color cars.Pulled the trigger today on:

I personally like the look of the 40s over the 35s, just like the look of more sidewall tire on the back.Hello,
Long time member, finally getting to where I can put my UMI suspension kit on and drop my wheels on, but I am having concerns about what rims I have and what tires are the best fit.
The closest approximation that I could find was from member "ZEDzag", he has apparently had the two wheel and tire sizes below:
18x8 fr 4.5 bs 245/40/18
18x9 rr 5.0 bs 275/40/18
--------- AND/OR -------
18x8 fr 4.5 bs - 245/40/18 fr
18x9.5 5.5 bs - 275/40/18 rr
My rims are as follows in the attached image and below

From what I can tell in this thread, I should be able to do:
Front Wheels: 18x8 fr 4.5 bs
Tire Size: 245/40/18
- Will those work ok on the front?
My back wheels are what concerns me
Back Wheels: 18x9 rr 5.0 bs
Tire Size: ???
Questions: The above says that I could possibly use 275/40/18....will this work w/o issues or modifications?
I spoke with Keith at CW and he recommended 275/35/18 as the perfect size. Has anyone tried these and how do they look on the car? The UMI suspension is supposes to be a 2" rear leaf drop.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yea it does, body's on jackstands. Still got some grinding and cutting to do on the factory frame rails, before the new suspension gets welded in.lol....you have a little lean in it.
