proportioning valve for S10-Blazer rear dics conversion

    Has anyone tried a proportioning valve for S10-Blazer rear dics conversion from a s10 or blazer or from a third gen camaro or trans am?
    Or can the 2nd gen camaro proportioning valve be modified?

    Thanks for the input, I read the whole listing too, and already did the junkyard crawl for the rearend brackets and calipers and emergency brake cables. Ordered new rotors and master cylinder from rock auto so I have everything ready to install, just thinking a proportioning valve from another vehicle should work( iroc gta trans am blazer or s-10). If no suggestion, I will go back to the junkyard and pull a couple and experiment, then post result here.

    For safety sake, I'd buy a new T/A one. I would hate for anything to happen to you or your family.

    I would get the disc/disc prop valve from a 79-81 WS6. They sell new ones on Ebay.

    I use the 1978-1979 Cadillac Seville valves on all my F-Body rear disc conversions....Robert
