Thanks! I'd heard the stock Hurst was a reach. Good to know this cures that issue!
Well.....I'm Done, again ............for now!!
a few months ago I picked up a billet aluminum grille, but it arrived in crappy shape (poor powdercoating) and the front edge of the individual bars were polished in the front.
So, along with my hood hinges, I sent the grill out to get powdercoated. I went with a semi-gloss or basically "chassis black". I test fitted the grille and found that a lot of the parts behind the grill that were body color, stuck out like a sore thumb.
so......I taped off the area, and painted it all semi-gloss black to match the bumper and grill.
and then reinstalled the grill and bumper....I love the way it turned out.
brakes are bled, wheels are back on......and the car is back on the ground!! What a loooong WINTER
poor thing.....it looks lonely!!
Looks great Scott!! Painting behind the grill made the difference between a bolt-on part and a part that looks great on your car! Nice job...
WOW ..car looks better and better everytime i see it..love the new grill
WOW..... That turned out GREAT!!
Nice job masking it off, too
That turned out great. What are you going to do with the other grill? Do you still have the trim surround for it?
Hang the old grill on Cindy's side of the garage.... I dare ya
Thanks....George, Darrin and Harry!!
Doug, I will probably hang on to the grill and trim.....for now
