Just a Public Service Announcement. Please remember to give your hoses a once over before heading out on a nice cruise. I'm pretty sure my evening events could have been avoided, If I would have squeeze tested a few of my hoses before heading out in the 98 degree Texas heat.

Seems like I just replaced them not that long ago, but in reality, it was probably 6-7 years ago.....,

Nothing like steam coming in your vents and a big ol' puddle of water under your car at the QT gas station.

I sprung a leak in my upper hose too a month ago.

Ordered new ones from Jegs and have been waiting for weeks. :(

when i drove my 70 as a daily driver in college, I carried :

extra set of points(yea, I was old school, lol)
a heater hose cut off valve. I had used that sucker at least twice, once on my 70 and and once on friends car.
    A jug of coolant
gas can--people these days are spoiled...gas stations around every corner.
    extra set of belts
    2 quarts of oil

I got my Jegs hoses a few days ago and changed the leaker.
Their radiator hoses for our Camaros are an exact fit out of the box. I was impressed.
(Not like your local parts store hoses which will only work after being cut to fit.)
They have the GM parts number printed on them too.

Now I just need to change the lower hose and flush the whole cooling system as that hasn't been done for a few years.
